《凤凰花开》这本小说由儿童文学作家彭学军老师著。文字中充满了温情和女性的力量。
这是一个回忆的、有年代感的事，所以在插图创作上，我尽量避开了艳丽的颜色，
画面就像是一张张老照片它们承载了每一章故事的关键点。画面的色比较节制，会集中体现在最想表达
情感的部分（例如同一时空中有些人或物会画成黑白）。有些构图上也会有点超现实，
希望画面能传达出一种情绪，它是朦胧的，却是记忆里最真切的。
The novel Phoenix Blossoms is written by Peng Xuejun, a children's literature author.
Its text is filled with warmtanfeminine strength. As it is a story of memories with a sense of the times,
I tried my best to avoid bright and gaudy colors in creating the illustrations;
the images are like pieces of old photos, each carrying the key points of the story in a respective chapter.
The color use in the images is rather restrained, and colors are concentrated on the parts
where I most want to express emotions (for instance, some people or objects in the same time
and space are depicted in blackand white). Some compositions also have a touch of surrealism.
I hope the images can convey a kind of emotion—vague yet the most genuine in memories.
